How does Transformational Coaching work?

Transformational coaching involves listening for the underlying beliefs and assumptions a person is speaking from. The coach observes for speaking or acting that emerges from facts, patterns of behavior, assumptions, or feelings. Once identified and explored the transformational coaching process helps each client develop the clarity to recognize what limiting beliefs have been holding them back from full expression and helps them discover the most effective way to move forward. 

Transformational Life Coaching is different from other coaching methods.  The coaching sessions are designed to create mental shifts in a client's self-awareness, so they develop the ability to recognize how they contribute to their own state of wellness or unhappiness.   

Seeing and experiencing ourselves differently is the first requirement to make shifts in our behavior and habits. Taking the time to get to know and identify ourselves is paramount and highly productive. It is from Self-knowledge that empowerment, clarity and creativity arise.

Doing something different isn't always going to create lasting, sustainable change if you are not willing to BE different.  Transformational coaching works on creating a newer, different and better version of “you” so that you can be happier and better in all areas of life.

Transactional vs. Transformational Coaching

Transactional coaching rests on the premise that a person will uncover what they need to and move forward in meaningful ways based on their existing way of being. In other words, nothing need be explored nor shifted at the level of being for desired outcomes to be achieved.

Transformational coaching, on the other hand, rests on the premise that an expanded or shifted way of being—and the better thoughts, perceptions, and energies available therein—is necessary to uncover the potential that is needed.
